Coaching And Facilitating Details

Here are a few things to consider:

If you want to coach at our facilities, you have 3 options:

Option 1: Rent the court for yourself and your player(s).

Option 2: Rent the court as an UNREGISTERED coach, which is less expensive.

Option 3: Contact us to REGISTER with us and we'll work with you to create a win-win outcome.

For example, we want to have Open Play (OP) and Round Robin (RR) Sessions available on the second court - right next to the one you would be coaching on. (This is only possible at multi-court facilities). If you do facilitate a session in parallel with your coaching, you could save your court fee for that Open Play or Round Robin Session. This requires advance coordination and synchronisation between your coaching and our OS and RR schedules.

We understand not all coaching sessions can be synchronised with OP or RR sessions, but when they can be, it's a win-win outcome.

Registering as a coach

To be a REGISTERED coach, you will need to:

1. Pay the A$100 annual membership fee.

2. If you want after-hours access, you'll need to pay the A$500 security deposit and abide by the rules of the facility's 24/7 T&Cs.

3. If you want to coach players or sessions we organise, you will need to have a current WWCC certificate regardless if you coach kids or not. This is a strict prerequisite for all our coaches and is non-negotiable.

You do NOT have to have a formal table tennis coaching certification, although it does help with marketing your services.

You choose your coaching rates for 1:1 Private Lessons and Hitting Sessions if you provide those.

All bookings are managed within the MindBody app, provided to all coaches at no cost. Cash or direct payments to REGISTERED coaches are not permitted.

If you choose to rent the court/table on your own as an UNREGISTERED coach you are responsible for your own fee collection. Solicitation of club members is only permitted by REGISTERED coaches who will be actively promoted to the membership and general public.

You must have working rights in Australia with an ABN or TFN. The hourly rate will be inclusive of superannuation which is your responsibility.
Proficiency in verbal English is mandatory for our sessions, but if you speak additional languages, please let us know since we often have requests for coaches who speak other languages. Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese and German are the most common.

Payments to REGISTERED coaches are made monthly to their designed Australian financial institution, the week following the preceding month's bookings. For example, all January sessions are paid the first week of February.
